Andreas Tziarras embodies the spirit of the CBN Young Dragon Awards, which celebrate early achievement, talent, and business potential in the professional services industry. His career reflects an exceptional blend of strategic foresight, people-first leadership, and entrepreneurial drive.
With a BSc in Sociology from the University of Cyprus and an MSc in HR and Organizational Development from CIIM, Andreas quickly rose through the ranks to become Global Head of HR at OSM Thome in 2017, overseeing HR operations for over 1,200 employees across 15 global locations.
In 2022, Andreas co-founded OneJar, an innovative HR consulting firm built on his vision of a fully integrated service model that consolidates all critical workforce-related functions into a single, seamless solution. This approach redefined how businesses manage their human capital, while also offering a high level of consulting to companies that already have an HR department.
Under Andreas’ leadership, OneJar has made an immediate and measurable impact. More than 1,000 employees are currently managed through the OneJar model, and over 20,000 users interact with its HR technology daily. These numbers reflect not only market traction but Andreas’ ability to design scalable, high-value solutions that align with business needs. In just three years, the company has grown into a leading player in the space, known for its blue-chip clientele and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Clients benefit not only from a results-driven consulting approach, but also from a model that functions as their own HR department, blending everything from administrative support to operational logistics. This level of integration, which is typically difficult to replicate internally, delivers both significant cost savings and tangible added value.
Andreas created the foundation for a different kind of consulting firm. OneJar has the structure and professionalism of a larger firm but maintains the agility and speed of a startup. That’s largely thanks to the systems, ownership mindset, and internal tools he set up from day one.
Acting as a true one-stop-shop, OneJar fully runs and manages the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with Andreas personally shaping the operating model and client experience. The OneJar model Andreas built is anchored in seven core pillars, all managed by the team with the client’s approval: Training & Development (upskilling and reskilling employees through customized learning programs), Well-being (enhancing employee satisfaction and mental health support), Legal & Compliance (ensuring adherence to labour laws and regulatory requirements), Talent Management (performance reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility), Optimization (improving HR processes and operational efficiency), Technology (leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance HR delivery), and Recruitment (sourcing, hiring, and onboarding top talent).
Andreas combines tools like The Predictive Index (a behavioral and cognitive assessment tool for hiring and team optimization) and OrangeHRM (an HR management software for tracking employee data and HR processes) with custom-built methodologies to deliver data-driven, people-first solutions that boost compliance, streamline operations, and increase engagement. This blend of technology and human insight is central to how Andreas views HR, not as a support function, but as a driver of business success.
As a certified psychometrician (Predictive Index & Hogan Assessment) and Executive Coach (Henley Business School), Andreas applies evidence-based tools and consulting expertise to drive organizational performance and culture transformation. His impact is already reshaping how modern businesses think about talent and organizational development.
His influence goes well beyond OneJar. In just two years, the company has helped dozens of Cypriot businesses, especially fast-growing SMEs, build HR operations they couldn’t manage in-house. This includes improving employer branding and reducing turnover through data-driven recruitment and employee engagement strategies. Outside of his role as founder, Andreas actively mentors young HR professionals and entrepreneurs in Cyprus, fostering local talent development. In addition, he leads training sessions and frequently speaks on how the world of work is changing.
He is active in the broader professional community as well. Andreas regularly shares his insights as a panelist at industry events, including the “Maritime Workforce 2030: Winning the Talent War” panel hosted by YoungShip on 22 May 2025. In October 2023, he also participated in the Young Executives Conference in Limassol, joining a panel discussion on “War for Talent: Future of Work” alongside others. Beyond these, he conducts leadership training workshops in Cyprus and Dubai, helping professionals elevate their management capabilities and build stronger, people-focused organizations.
In every role he has taken on, Andreas has shown not only success, but a repeatable, scalable vision that challenges how things are traditionally done. His journey so far is just the beginning, a clear signal of the impact he is set to make as one of Cyprus’ most forward-thinking young business leaders in the professional services industry.
