Chris Giljam is a Dutch entrepreneur with a strong background in maritime services.
He began his career in the industry at just 17 years old, steadily working his way up through dedication,
discipline, and hands-on experience. In 2019, driven by his deep sector knowledge and a clear vision for improvement,
he founded Inglasco International Ltd, believing he could deliver more effective and specialized solutions than those
offered by existing players.
Starting as a one-man operation, Inglasco has grown steadily and now employs a team of seven skilled professionals.
In just six years, the company has become a well-known and highly reputable maritime safety service provider, trusted
by nearly all major ship management companies in Cyprus and an expanding roster of international clients. Its strong
reputation is built on quality, reliability, and a client-focused approach—core values that reflect Mr. Giljam’s leadership
and entrepreneurial drive.
Mr. Giljam is also an active and respected member of the Cyprus shipping community, participating in various esteemed industry
associations, including the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, where he contributes to the advancement of the local maritime sector.
Mr. Giljam has been a resident of Cyprus for the past 12 years and considers the island his home.
He is married to a Greek Cypriot and is a proud father of two. Beyond business, he is committed to supporting the local community.
He actively donates to dog shelters and sponsors both a football academy and a U16 basketball team, firmly believing in investing
in the health and development of the younger generation.
