Yiannis, began his career in hospitality at Amara Hotel, where he took on the role of Head Waiter. Eager to expand his horizons, Yiannis pursued an international career in luxury 5-star hotels in Dubai and the Bahamas. These roles immersed him in some of the world’s most demanding hospitality environments, where he honed his ability to adapt quickly, deliver exceptional service to a multicultural clientele, and manage operations to the highest standards. During this period, he contributed to F&B teams that consistently exceeded revenue targets and maintained guest review scores above 90%.
Upon returning to Cyprus, Yiannis brought his international expertise back to Amara Hotel and continued to grow within the organization. He currently serves as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, leading a team of over 170 staff across multiple outlets. His focus has been on operational excellence, efficiency improvements, and elevating guest experiences. In addition to his hotel career, Yiannis has been working as a Hospitality Instructor for the past three years, teaching and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals.
