I entered hospitality at 15, armed with zero qualifications but an obsessive attention to detail and a willingness to do absolutely everything. By 23, I was managing a restaurant and soon after became Assistant General Manager at a five-star hotel – proof that hard work (and probably caffeine) pays off. After mentoring hospitality students at City Unity College, I decided to test everything I’d learned by launching Por Favor, a modern Mexican casual dining concept born from my time in Manchester and my love of tacos done properly. Today, Por Favor is one of Cyprus’s top-rated restaurants, with locations in Nicosia and Limassol, ISO 22000 certification, over 50 employees, and consistently stellar reviews (4.5 stars online, 9.4/10 on delivery apps). Our Nicosia branch seats 200, while our Limassol outlet leads on delivery, supported by a food truck that’s somehow everywhere: festivals, private events, corporate lunches, you name it. To stay ahead of trends, we also launched SmashMe – delivery-only burger kitchen with no patience for soggy buns – and Healthy Meals Limassol, a ready-to-eat meal plan service covering everything from vegan to keto. Our real strength? A brilliant, tight-knit team built through training, internal promotions, and a shared obsession with quality. We’re now focused on sustainability, reducing waste, and installing photovoltaic systems to power our growth. Because in an industry that never stands still, neither do we – and that’s exactly how we like it.
